Week 5 — Realisation and Dissemination

This week I presented my work to Camille. From last weeks adjustments I had been coming up with the backstory to why the vehicle was made and the reason for its abandonment. Some questions asked after the presentation helped me to make some changes to the project. For example, I was asked if it was necessary to extend the duration of the war to accommodate my vehicle. This made me re-think that aspect as my design for the vehicle would not require extensive technological advancements.

As for the vehicle design, I narrowed it down to a synchropter as it resembles a helicopter but utilises an unusual form of propulsion. The intermeshing rotors leave viewers anxious and scratching their heads as to how they manage to rotate without striking one another. Taking inspiration from modern attack helicopters, pylons with mounted rocket pods and other weaponry will feature. This gives the vehicle an intimidating stance.
